Hi, am picking up a pair of JIII's which have the dimensions of the JII. although they are clearly marked JIII; anybody know the story on this, like when the JIII went to the larger cabinet, and what other changes may have happened? Thanks in advance to all my fellow Snell freaks- Steve

Hi Fintoup
The dimensions on  the J3 are the same as J2. It's only in the technical way, there is a minor differens between them. J2 dimensions are 330x580x260mm and J3 are 325x575x250mm. Both says they weigh 20kg.  Smiley

Snell first went to a floorstanding cabinet in JIV. The difference between JII and JIII are the tweeter, tweeter level adjustment and crossover point.

Thanks for the replies, just a little confusing as the dimensions in the archives are different; refoamed the woofers on the JIII's and have been listening to them for a few days, I've had a pair of JII and JIV's in the past but I think I like these the best, unfortunately the cabs are black and a little worn, but they really sing!
